REGULATIONS
1. For Matrons with Foal at foot covering details for 2009 signed and dated by the stallion owner, must be entered in the passport (Green Book) and available for inspection on Show day.
2. Matrons without foal at foot must have a current pregnancy certificate, signed and dated by a veterinary surgeon, available for inspection on Show day.
Failure to comply with these regulations will lead to disqualification.

RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. This Championship is confined to Irish Draught 2 year old Fillies, the progeny of a registered Irish Draught Mare or appendix Mare, and R.I.D. Stallion who have qualifie at selected I.S.A. Shows this season.
2. Each entry must have her passport available for checking by the I.S.A. representative, both to the Qualifiying Show and to the Final to confirm that she is eligible to compete. No filly will be allowed to compete unless her passport is in order.
3 Two animals in each qualifying class may be selected to compete in the Final provided that the judges agree that the standard is high enough.
4. One of the judges to the Qualifying Shows must be from the Irish Draught Society
5. Animals qualified for Final are not eligible to enter in any other class at the Show.

THE LIMERICK LADY CHAMPIONSHIP

CONDITIONS
1. For two-year-old non-thoroughbred fillies, suitable for producing Hunters, Show Jumpers and Eventers.
2. Fillies must have been registered with the I.H.B. as FOALS and must be by APPROVED
a) Thoroughbred Stallions
b) Registered Irish Draught Stallions, or
c) Irish Sport Horse Stallions PROVIDED that such Stallions are of Thoroughbred/R.I.D. cross.
3. Dams of fillies must also be by Stallions as above and registered with the I.H.B.
4. All Exhibitors must have their filly’s passport (Green Book) at the qualifying Show and the Championship.
5. The entry fee for a qualifying class is €15. Entry Fee to the Final is €20
6. Fillies entered in the qualifying class must also be entered in some other class at that Show.
7. More than one filly may be selected at any qualifying Show provided that the standard of entries warrants such selection.
8. Should the standard of entries be deemed to be insufficient, no filly will be selected.
9. Infringement of these conditions or Championship regulations may disqualify.
Each Filly selected at qualifying Shows will receive a Limerick Lady Rosette and thereafter are eligible to compete in the Limerick Lady Championship Final
Final to be held at Limerick Show on SUNDAY 22ndAugust.
PRIZE FUND
Each non- prize winning Filly numbers 6to 12 presented at the Final at Limerick will receive €50.
In addition, prize money will be awarded as follows:-

Guide Lines for Limerick Lady Two-Year-Old Fillies
1. The aim of the Society is to select two-year-old Fillies with Quality and Substance whose progeny when put to a Thoroughbred Stallion will produce the Traditional Irish Bred Sport Horse.
2. These fillies must have Good Conformation and be free from any Hereditary Defects
3. Particular attention will be paid to the following –
(a) Four Good Strong Limbs, especially in the foreleg below the knee
(b) Good Movement
(c) Good Outlook – head, neck and shoulder
(d) Temperament to be a potential Brood Mare
3. The breeding of these fillies must conform to the Qualifications as stated in the Conditions of entry for the Limerick Lady Championship.
